My Two Cents Use descriptive and unique titles (Thread Nomenclature)!

It would be great, if we can name the thread appropriately, instead of just naming it as Probability or Geometry

So when you see the thread with appropriate and creative names you immediately get the idea, whether you have visited this thread.

I see some threads like "Geometry", "Permutations" etc... Imagine if this nomenclature continues.. we shall have 200 permutations..150 probability..260 Geometry threads!!
Just spend 30 seconds to come up with a good name.. it helps us all

We have excellent forum here!! let us follow some standard and reap benefits together..

When somebody new to this forum, posts new material, we should inform them the forum's practices!!
Even better would be Erin can make it as one of the guidelines when people are signing up!!

Great Idea and it should work for the most part except when people use the same terms to describe similar questions

ex: you have a probability question about three painters and someone else has a work question about 3 painters -- chances are more than one person will pick three painters for the title of their post.

If you've ever worked with databases, you'll know that you need to assign a unique ID to each record in say, a payroll system, because more than one person will have the same first name , or last name or in some cases, both.

Also, in my opinion, it would help people who wanted to brush up on say, Distance questions, to search for those questions and follow the specific links that point them to more of those questions.

Let us think, I m weak in a particular area, i.e, geometry, permutation etc. Then I would like to solve all or most of the permutation questions on the forum to get the hang of permutation. I can do it by search option. But if thread is given a descriptive and catchy name, then search option won't come to the rescue.
