my guess is most probably the green colour is for all the people out here who post regularly or maybe,who have crossed the 100 mark,jst as tans suggested.

Yep, just playing around with the colors. Something to distinguish the regulars from the rest of the pack.
Don't worry, I probably won't keep the green. You're right, it's not easy on the eyes. But until I figure out something better, let's stick with green, what do you say? |

Hmmm...something on the lines of the blue color for your user ID seems soothing enough...or you can decrease the font size if you are interested in retaining the green stuff..
Btw, now that many TMians shall recieve their admits and rejects (in fact, tans has already received the admit), I'd like to see a customary energy boosting inspirational post from our leader to set the tone for 2005...what do you say Erin?? (sorry for digressing from the topic)

Hey why don't we color the names of those TMs who have got admits/success. It will be easy to identify them and can help all of us and future aspirants in knowing what it needs to be successful. To be precise, future aspirants can get idea from successful aspirants' profiles in terms of their scores, such that it is easy for them to select colleges by comparing their profile with the successful candidates.
