I understand what you're saying, but at some point, too many forums will become unweildy and perhaps somewhat divisive. Imagine if the forum had a sub-forum for each admission group--there could literally be hundreds of different forums. Small forums with few posts tend not to attract posters, which doesn't help anybody. And sometimes, as scheng pointed out, somebody from another discipline may be able to jump in with her or his two cents while looking at another forum, which wouldn't happen if people stuck to their own forums.
I've long wished forum software could post the same thread in multiple categories, but no forum software that I know of has this feature. For example, a math question could go in the GRE math and GMAT math forums, not just one of the forums. Or a TOEFL grammar question could go in both the TOEFL forums and the English grammar forum.
I can tell you, though, that I will keep your feedback in mind as our forum grows.![]()
