Please enlighten my ignorant soul.

Re: Points added to repution
the more "senior" the TM member that grants you "reputation" is, the more points you get. I think it is 1 square from 0-99 reputation, 2 squares from 100-199 and 3 for 200-299 etc.
. Check you points and then I will leave you some reputation and tell me how much my "reputation" worth, ok??? ![]()

Re: Points added to repution
I too believe it is the seniority that counts. If I remember right, a senior member can give a rep of 10- 20 points. While in the case of a newer member,it might be probably a one-digit rep..

Re: Points added to repution
Actually the system is very complicated. There's a whole list of criteria for how much rep-giving power a member has, based on how long you've been a member, how many posts you have, how much rep you have, and more.
awhig is right about the admin's rep-giving power, but senior members, believe it or not, are not necessarily limited to that. So it's theoretically possible for someone to be able to give more than ten points, although I don't know whether it's the case right now. Complicated, huh? ![]() |

Re: Points added to repution
I have another question about reputation: what is the scale? I mean when I point with the cursor on that green square a different comment appears each time. My question is what range of scores gives what comment.

Re: Points added to repution
The comments change as your rep points go up. Please don't ask what the comments are or when they change, because I don't remember. For what it's worth, I did change most of the default messages to something I thought was more fitting for us.
