Hi Erin

I am unable to use the chat feature. I tried the following

http://www.testmagic.com/chat/
The applet at the bottom of the page gets activated.
I provided a user name and chose the only available Room, i.e. Main Room and pressed the login button.

The messages in the status viewer are:
Connecting To Server...
Error Connecting. Please try again.

I tried the following:
1. Tried several times
2. Provided a different login name
3. Tried by making the chat applet "floating"

but none of the above works.

By the way, I have JRE 1.5 installed on my computer.

Could you get back regarding this?

I'll look into it, but I don't think the problem would be on our end, as the chat app is remotely hosted. I'll head on over to the chat provider's website now.

Couldn't find any other complaints about their servers being down. Can you try again? Also, are you behind a firewall?

I just tried to connect to chat from home, and I was able to do so, but, I am not able to connect from office. I am behind a firewall at office, and the IT staff may have closed / denied access to some ports for security reasons.
