What do u think of THIS?!
thanks again!
this might sound sound off topic here, but im really enthusiastic and eager for something like this to happen-Heres what it is about : Test magic is like THE place where outstanding students interact and help each other out. Many have experiences which other members could use and a lot of people who've been here have got into top-notch Universities and in top programs. Harvard, Stanford, MIT...u name them! As we all know, the core of most business programs is Networking--building connections with people to get the work done. Thats the ultimate thing they teach in business schools and eventually skills which every person must have to be successful at their jobs. Networking gives you everything-- inside knowledge of whats going on where, tips in making plans and decisions, helps in promotions in jobs and countless other possibilities. Just imagine if we all from TM formed our network--stretching out continents-- LBS,Insead,Harvard,IMD, IIM's , we will have an edge and such a huge advantage on our side. Instead of people just preparing for their tests here and then taking off, we could continue our network which presents tremendous opportunities in future. Where else can we meet with such brilliant people. If you get admitted into one Univ. u'll have contacts with people ONLY from that Univ, BUT we on the other hand will know people from the Univ we are in AND ALSO have contacts with FUTURE LEADERS of tommrrow. 5 or 10 years from now, who knows who will be where. If we'r networked, we know what each others profiles and capabilities are and could make use of them in our future endeavours. For example, lets assume I became the Director of GM and JKRIS become a noted economist, i could have a chat with him and use his advice in my job. Also, we maybe playing different roles in the same company or industry. Maybe Erin can start a different forum or section for the alumni of TM (people who started off here and are in big colleges) can post stuff about their classes, research, job prospects when graduating, maybe help one out to get in touch with prospective employers, provide recommendations? we could even collaborate on projects. Networking is Everything! what do you guys think? p.s: ill post it in another topic too so it becomes visible. |

I just want to direct people to the new thread, Graduate Networking-Future job connections. I'm going to lock this one now to avoid confusion.
