I'm a student of St Petersburg State univ of IT Mechanics n Optics. I study informatics in economics (which is kind of the mixture of different comp n economic sciences), will graduate in 2 yrs.
Want to try to enter some american univ for the master degree in IT administration or something like that. Well I know that there are the ways for the foreign students to get the financial aid/study-work/scholarships.. well I've already talked to the guys from Russia who did so but still would like to hear some more opinions. So anybody who has the ideas, advices about the thing r welcome to leave their message! |

Re: Master Degree in US for free-possible???
Hello,
Yes, it is possible to be awarded a TA/RA (teaching assistanship/research assistanship, meaning full financial support) for Masters. It depends however on your credentials, the department and your field of study. As some pieces of advice, I would recommend doing some research and publishing it in an international magazine or conference and taking as much time as possible studying for the GRE General and the subject test, if any. Good luck! Mihai |
