Regarding admission
HI all,
I had applied only for 4 universities for graduate admission and got an admit (I20) from Illinois institute of technology chicago. My GRE was pretty low - 1140 , TOEFL - 263. And aceds 76%. I have 1 year experience in an MNC. I have also applied to Colorado state univ, San Jose state univ, Carnegie mellon univ (BUT NOT YET HEARD FROM ANY OF THESE) . Plz let me know about IIT chicago and my chances of getting a financial assistanship (AID). also there is no mention of scholarship in the I20. Huv is this univ in general ? Should i wait for any other 3 univ ? PLZ PlZ PLZ Answer, my visa interview is commencing next month and i dont have much time !!!!!  With regards - sneha |

hey sneha.... comgrats on ur I20.... IIT is a good university... no doubt... but carnegie mellon is surely better .... i think u should be able to check ur admiossion status online at their website... try that out.... and bout the aid.. as far as i know.. it is supposed to be mentioned in the I20.... i m not sure bout that tough....
