I intend to study in Singapore since I am a Vietnamese student. I have heard about government loans for international students(100% tuition fee,and many things else),so after you have finishes your studies, you need to work for a Singapore company. But a problem is, I don't really know much about the procedure,application,requirements,etc...to apply for this. Please give me some information.
Highly appreciate any helps. ![]() |

Hi,
First of all, u need to be admitted to a singapore university. After which, you can choose to take up the government grant of ~S$15K and be obliged to work in singapore for 3 years upon graduation. As for the remaining school fees, ~S$6K, you can take up the tuition loan scheme which u can borrow up to 80% of that amount. Finanlly U can make up for the remaining 20% and other living expenses by taking up another university administered loan which guarantees ~S$3K per year. However, if your results is good, u may want to apply for the ASEAN scholarship which takes care of the S$6K of tuition fees and provides a yearly stipend of S$4K. The 3 year work-in-singapore bond still applies though. |

Do i have to have good results for that? i wanted to emigrate in singapour and the only i thought was to go to university there to get PR - permanent residence... but the problem is that i have only GCSE and it's not very good results.. and the loan also is very appealing as I don't have enough money for studies.

If you r asking about the scholarship, then of cause you need to have good results.
But if u r referring to the admission, it depends on which course u r applying to. Generally it is more competitive for business courses compared to engineering courses (except bio-science, aerospace) |
