You are most welcome to join. Lets get started!
Hi everyone, I have the cpr but I think it has too much details for the FPGEE, so Im really confused what should we study from cpr and what other sources could we use as an alternative?

Hi all!
I would recommend a pharmacology book for nurses. I used at the very end a book called "Pharmacology for Nurses A Pathophysiological Approach" Everything was explained in simple way and it combined basic anatomy and pathophysiology. It had a protype drug of choice with detail explanation along with all the nursing considerations. I will start studying again, using this book and CPR for the first part of the test and Morris and Cody and Mannan Pharmacoeconomics for the second part of the test. Try to understand the basic concepts, and again, basic concepts. CPR is way to detailed but still is a good reference for the test. Dr Dutta is great, but it really just is CPR made into questions. So for some, this might be a good approach.
Good luck to us all.
hi guys,
I am also preparing for fpgee2009.
I have cpr and lippincott.
I also join this group.
Hi MENO,
You are right that cpr has too much detail.
So I read pharmacology from Lippincott then chemestry, patho(clinical laboratory test) for particular disease,or whatever extra point from cpr.
It is to me for remember. And also take short time to prepare.
If you would do like this then you have complete two chapter at once.
Like If you read CVS part from Lippincott, then you have to read only chemistry part of cvs from cpr(chp-13),and also remaining part like clincal laboratory test from cpr second part chapter.
So you complete both chemistry and pharmacotherapeutic both at once.
Thaks.
is there much difference between cpr 5th edition an 6th?
Hi lannoush,
I don't think so there is too much difference between cpr 5th edition and 6th.
Because there is new seventh edition has not too much different from sixth edition.
I want to ask i have manan shoff books and cds..i have cpr book...should i get the live cds of dr.dutta?
