FL internship hours total of 2080 hours or 2580 hours???

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to ask those who did their Internship in the state of FL or those who have any info regarding this matter:

Is the total number of Internship hours 2,080? or is it 2,580? Do you have to add the 500 supervised hours? Or is it already included in the 2,080 total hours?

Any helpful information is appreciated.

No, it is only 2080 hours . I'm an intern in FL & I already contacted the board & they have that too online that it is only 500 hours manual activity + 1580 hours experience which means total 2080.

Did it change? My friend had to do a total of 2,580 hours. He is a registered pharmacist in FL.

yes , That was in 2007 for 1 yr only but the board changed the rule back to be 2080 hours total.
you can check their website too.It says that same thing when you open the link of the manual activity.

Thank you so much for all the replies. I also contacted the Florida Board of Pharmacy and they said the 500 hours is already inclusive of the 2,080 hours.

Are you sure about 60 hours /week I heard 40 maximum for an intern. Can you let me know or share a line where did you find this information thanks
