Hai friends,
I have completed Ph.D in pharmaceutical Chemistry(2006) from India.I came to USA in april 2009 as a dependent of my husband (Iam in J2 visa).I would like to give FPGEE in 2010,I need a clarification regarding transcripts,As i have completed B.Pharm,M.pharm and Ph.D,(I have to get transcripts only for B.Pharm or should I get Transcripts for M.pharm as well as Ph.d signed by the Head?) as I did M.Pharm and Ph.D in different parts of India it may be difficult to get it from there.Anybody who has completed Ph.D and appeared for FPGEE please help in this regard.Thankyou.

I have a Ph.D. too (from the US)
But it does not matter, they do not need any Master or Phd papers.
They only need the transcript for the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical sciences.

Thanks for your reply.Have you cleared FPGEE? I am also planning to give certified pharmacy technician examination at present.How is the scope of that because it will take take another one year for me to get job after completing FPGEE till that if i complete pharm.technician i can work in some pharmacy.Kindly give me some advice in this regard.thankyou.

Hi, you need to have work permit to work as tech,as they don't sponser H1's for technicians.

I have got my EAD (Employment authorisation) last week as J2 can work.I have applied and got work permit.

I am not sure what would be the answer as I have no experience in this matter.
As of me, I will take the test this October and a bit stressed out since I am currently working as a full time postdoc.

Even my husband is a postdoc i am not willing to work as a postdoc because it is very hectic (i see my husband) that's why i am searching some other opportunities or where i can work part time. Are you from India? (have you done any credentia evaluation) All the best for your exam.

When you have started the preparation for the exam(6-8 month preparation is enough as we have covered most of the syllabus in M.Pharm )
