References for April 2010...

FPGEE 2010 References! Hello,

I have the complete Manan H. Shroff series of book and CD (5 books, 5 CDs), and also the CPR by Leon Shargel (6th edition 2007). Also a series of flash cards called "PharmPhlash" that helps for memorizing features of each drug, its cautions, some important interactions, dosage forms and pronunciation.
  1. Manan Shroff Calculation questions
  2. Manan Shroff Pharmacy theory
  3. Manan Shroff Management and pharmacoeconomy
  4. Manan Shroff 1000 Q&A 5- management Q&A (~20% marked and underlined)
  5. Manan Shroff 5 CDs, Test & Answers
  6. Comprehensive Pharmacy Review, Leon Shargel, 6th edition
  7. PharmPhlash, flash cards for learning quickly and easily 400 drugs of the US formulary
  8. Microbiology (free for one who buy the whole package)
The individual prices are higher because they need separate packaging and mail fees. If you are interested, please send me PM (private message).

Hello,

They are all for $230 including mail expenses, if you are in the USA. In other words mailing fees are included in the price for those who live in the USA.

Thanks

Hello Sakina,

NABP have not set any special reference for studying the FPGEE, it just provided a blueprint about the subjet that are going to be questioned in the exam. There are several books you can study and everyone chose his or her own preferred reference.

You can try TOEFL whenever you want to, and it really doesn't matter if it's before or after FPGEE. But, in order to keep your TOEFL results by NABP, you need to have and EE number issued by them. This number will be given to you when all your application procedure, and documents evaluation is finished.

Just try to finish the evaluation process and focus on the application first. And one last hint: try to practice on your writing and talking skills as much as you can before applying for TOEFL. You need to get quite high score on them.

Wish you great success
