Congratulations to all who passed the test. I am really happy to see that majority of us passed it with such a good scores (I don't remember seeing score 150 before, this is just super
I am sooooooo happy. Thanks to members of this forum for their advices and their support. And my special thanks to Florida2009 for her support. Good luck to all and lets share tips for future test takers. As for me: I wasn't happy with my preparation at all, I had only 1 month to prepare. I started my preparation with Manan Shroff (1000 Q&A) , as the easiest book, but then started also CPR (I think I would have scored more if I used this book as my main reference). I know its a lot of information in this book, but we are studying not only to pass the test, but also to have more knowledge for our future career. Try to read at least twice. Don't delay your preparations till the last 2 months. I read also Lippincott pharmacology and some chapters in Remington. As I said before this book is the best source for statistics. If I had to study again, this time I would definitely rely more on CPR. But I must confess that 1000 Q&A gives you some sort of clue to guess the answers, even if you don't know them. This exam had a lot of formulas, but last test takers said they didn't have more than one. So I think they change the content time by time, so all we can do is to prepared. I found this pharmacology site a week before the exam, I think it can be helpful. Presentations and explanations are probably for school students only, but you can try Practice quiz, there are a lot of question you can practice. Pay attention to their explanations on given answers. Pharmacology God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with him!. Good luck to all!!! |

Hi all, thanks to every forum member. You were all supportive. It's amazing that some people had such high scores, it's really suprising. I passed with a score of 91, and honestly i didn't think i would pass, because i had limited time to prepare. I didn't even have a chance to open the CPR, let alone read it. I was working 13 hours a day at one point. I

About 3 weeks to the exam, i managed to go through Manan 1000 Q &A, then and browsed the internet for some of the management questions just to have an idea of what they mean. In the exam, i was only sure of 5 questions out of 125 in the first part and i was sure of about 90 out of 125 of the management part. I think the management part saved me, because i didn't know the basics from the first part at all, as i didn't have time to read any pharmacology or chemistry....Thank God and all the best to everyone. Thank you.

Has anyone on this forum gotten any offer for internship yet? Please if there is anyone in the same boat as me, in the Wisconsin area I would love to hear from you. I am having a terrible time getting any response from the cahins for internship.

Wow
So many people have passed this time. Realistically, major task is ahead i.e finding an internship. Don' t be disappointed guys but it will be tough and just to let you know Texas, PA, IL, NY, NJ, AR, MI and don' t know how many more, are super saturated infact I can see lay offs in these states. Don' t be disappointed but things are really really bad. Just keep on trying and have faith. Thanks |
