help URGENT- UK pharmacist (Mpharm) eligible for the FPGEE ?
Hi any pharmacists in the uk,
I am appyling for the FPGEE exam for April 2010, and I am not sure about the 5 year pharmacy curriculum Since they nowadays require 5 year pharmacy curriculum to be eligible for the FPGEE, will the A level count towards the pre-pharmacy coursework in addtion to our 4 year Mpharm degree in the UK? Will so, do I have to request my A level transcripts to be sent along with my Mpharm transcripts? I have spoken to OCR/edexcel today and they told me they only could issue statment of result , but not the original transcripts. Can you help me with this one, what A level documents you submitted to support thy FPGEE application on top of thy 4 year Mpharm degree? Can anyone help me with this?? thanks , matthew |

Heey,
Im from different country, but we have the same system.two days ago i sent my application to ECE, with intentions of applying for the april exam. Well you need thy statement of alevel results to be sent, as well as a letter from your university/college/school of pharmacy stating that two years of alevels were required to makE you eligible to join the pharmacy program,i also sent my transcripts, and we get an alevel certificate i sent that too. I think send thy statement and the letter and see what ECE say, they might ask for the transcripts, remember to have them stamped signed and sealed and send two copies of each. hope it helps. I can proly help you better once i hear from ECE. goodluck PM your email i can send you additional info that i have. |

matthew do you think I can start my ECE application while I am still doing my pre-reg and do the NABP bit once I am qualified? And did you ask your uni for the letter about a-level as pharmacy prerequisite to ECE? |

Hi,
I am also from the UK and will start my pre-reg. Can we apply for the FPGEC and start the ECE application during the pre-reg or do we have to wait after the pre-reg, after we have sat the RPSGB exam and are licensed in the uk?? |
