Hello April 2012 FPGEE Graduates, any luck with getting internships? I have received NOs from every single person I contacted..

you mentioned that you have a green card , did you try Walgreens ? they dont sponsor any more but if you have a green card I think it might work. Since you dont need sponsoring you should apply to Target they have plenty of vacancies for pharmacy grad interns thats another option you should try , and apply to Walmart.

Hi, just out of curious, which state and city are you in? Have you tried to talk to the store pharmacist in person. I heard that people get their intern by actually talking to the pharmacist,

Hi Thanks for your responses. I tried all the major pharmacies, Walgreens, RiteAid,CVS, Walmart, Target, SuperValu - NOTHING!!!!!!!!! It is so frustrating. I don't need sponsorship. I just need to complete my hours. The responses are either - we have nothing available right now or that they don't hire foreign pharmacy grads..

Hi Archuvs , just out of interest what was Walgreens responce to your application ? I am interested to know what would be there responce for
a foreign pharmacist who has a green card ? Regards.

have you recieved your FPGEC certificate? what about independent pharmacies? have you tried them? did you apply for internship for the board of the state that you are looking for internship?
