Intern Salaries?

Can anybody shed some light of the usual rate of pay for an intern.

Depend on state and requirement of individual company. On of my friend work in Michigan with rite aid getting only 17$/Hr and other who was working in washington getting 27$/hr but accroding to general statastics cost of living in washington is about 30% high as compared to average. Some friends are getting 19$, some are getting 23$. so it is totally depend upon that time, requirement,state and indivudual company

That's about the same that I am currently being paid as a pharmacist and the cost of living here is outrageous so makes me happier about attempting to work in the States.

here is one of NE. I have been paid $21.50/h.

Rite Aid in California is $22/hr, in WA state is 25/hr. Kmart Indiana is 21/hr, in busier cities its less. Walgreens is much higher 26-36/hr, but I heard nowadays they cut it down.
But still, it depends on the timing, city and company.

1. Can anybody tell me whether the salary of an intern is negotiable or a fixed one as per the state and the pharmacy/Company ?

2. What other benefits does an intern gets if hired ?

3. Do I have to negotiate for the other benefits or do they come standard as a package?

pay and benefits as an intern is non-negotiable. some chain companies dont give benefits for interns at a certain period like for the first 6 mos. only until you are a registered pharmacist that somehow your pay is negotiable, but is less common. health benefits are standard, there could be options whether you get the premium packages or less expensive ones.
it all varies from company to company, there's no general rule.
ask your employer about it.

well, whenever I call customer service about the status, they would advice that faxing a letter inquiring my status would get their attention, somehow.

did you finish all english exams before the fpgee? i think its much faster that way.
