Australian Pharmacy examination similar to fpgee. Need help from fpgee takers

Hi

I am an Indian Pharmacist in Australia preparing forAPEC (Australian Pharmacy Examination) stage 1 exam which is very similar to FPGEE. You people who are taking FPGEE are very lucky to have the experiences and help from one another. I hope you will express same amopunt of generosity to me as i could not find any forum for my exam. however i am pretty sure that it is quite similar to FPGEE excluding management part and US federal law. Basic concept is same. I am appearing for my exam in march and i am in middle of my The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review -shargel. i am worried whether i'll be able to finish up my study.

I expect to write APEC too,jjp could you tell the procedure for APEC and exam centres outside Australia, am in Canada.
After APEC how difficult it is to get an internship. Is there any companies which could sponsor as I see in America.

i got approval for apec and iam taking exam in sep.but i know a friend who is taking the exam in UK.hope u share thy experiances after u write thy exam.all the best for thy exam in march.did u buy apec referred book for biopharmaceutics and calculation.i have taken FPGEE ,but as everybody know how the paper is,it's difficult to guess the outcome of the exam.hope for gud luck

It is Great to have so many posts related to APEC.

In response to Kimit's question the procedure for APEC is not very complicated once you got approval and your IELTS score.(minimum 7). Regarding the internship , i am also not in the very good position to draw a clear picture. As far as I know after your stage 1 if u r in australia u can make an appointment with APEC councillor which may help u to guide abt internship. In additon, there is Pharmaceutical Society of Australia which can also help you for the preregistrant training.but at the end u have to find out the place by yourself. As i am a permanant resident here i don not have the idea about the sponsering by chain pharmacy. however , they have some pre registrant position. It is best to ask APEC regarding the further process for who are overseas. they are very prompt in replying.

Secondly , I bought reference material for biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical calculation. i would strongly recommend to buy that as i found is very easy to follow and it covers the 2 imp topics of Paper 2.

Thirdly i really appreciate reddyv who came forward to offer a help in much needed time. i will be very thankful to you if u can send me the questions for practice. and i would also like to have an email address of your freind who is sitting for APEC soon in UK. Can you imagine i am in ausrtralia for more than a year and first time i found the people who are taking APEC. As there is not any forum for pharmacist in australia. it was very difficult for me to prepare by myself. but it will not happen with u people. i'll help my best.
