Unhappy Credentials?!

Hi there,
Does anyone know what are the credentials needed for the translator? Is it his stamp or anything else?
And about the transcripts, my faculty made official copies of my originals and sealed them. Do you think it will be good?
Thanks and good luck to all of you that are on their way to pass the Fpgee.

Hi,
I had the same problem with figuring out what does the "credential" mean for fpgee. What I did I sent my documents translated and stamped by a person who works at the US university teaching my language. Then he stamped them with a "official translation" stamp. So it was all official. I think they just need to know that the translator is expierenced and well known. I have no idea if they accept translations made by agency, I know that they accepted mine.
Good luck

co-ask
The professional translation service I contacted said that they have never heard about and been requested "proof of the translator's credentials" for 20 years in the business. I am really confused. Anybody has the experience with translation agency? What is the "proof of the translator's credentials" in this case?
Thanks.

I had the same answer from my translator at the time. What I did, I included with the translation a copy of my translator's card stating that she was registered to the board of translators and she translated it. Besides, all the translations were made on his official paper and each were stamped and signed.
Ask your translator if he has anything proving that he is a registered translator in your country. It's just to prove that you didn't do the translation yourself.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.

Hi guys,

What I know about this is that translations are just needed if your credentials are not written in English. If it is written in english, you wouldn't have any problem on this.

All you need to do is complete your credentials (Diploma -photocopy with stamp, Pharmacy Licence from the country you are licensed from, Transcripts of records..etc which is written in the bulletin).

I hope I was able to help.

Thanks much! and God Bless!
