    fondaparinux: antidote is protamine

fosfamide: antidote is mesna, am I right?

To help weak acids (salicylates, phenobarbital) be excreted we can adminiister Sodium Bicarbonate intravenously (alkaline diuresis)

    Dialisis: to remove water-soluble subst.
    for small vol.of distribution subst.
    for low molecular weight subst.
for not significant bound to protein subst

Used for intox with: ethylenglycol, methanol, paraquat, ethanol, theophilli ne,Litium,salicilates,long-acting barbiturates

Also in iintox with methanol: folic acid increases the metabolism of formic acid "(formic acid is formed as a reaction from methanol to formaldehyde, then from formaldehyde to formic acid) so we can get rid of the formic acid with folic acid

In intox with SSRIs, benzodiazepines are used. Also FLUMAZENIL. If there is a mixed intox with SSRIs and Tricyclic antidepr.together, do not USE FLUMAZENIL B/C OF RISK OF SEIZURES.

    INTOX BY BETA BLOCKERS: EPINEPHRINE

    ANTIDOTE OF Ferrum: DEFEROXIME (QUELATOR)

Lead: etedate Ca disodium (edta) and dimercaprol

ORGANOPHOSPHATES: They produce excessive colinergic inhibition. Use Atropine, Pralidoxime (2-PAM)

THIS IS AN EMPIRIC ANTIDOTAL THERAPY FOR UNCONSCIOUS PATIENTS, PAT.IN HOSPITAL, AND WHEN THE TOXIC AGENT IS UNKNOWN:

    DEXTROSE + THIAMINE + NALOXONE

When the toxic is a sustained release tablet we need more AGGRESSIVE removal methods: charcoal hemapheresis, multiple charcoal doses

Avoid ipepac if the toxic is caustic, if the patient is epileptic (and is havig generalized tonic-clonic seizures) and when he is unconscious.

If there is something guffy here let me know
    Add more stuff also please
    Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
