I think about this idea because I am on The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review now.

Although The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review is an excellent source for prereration for FPGEE, covering very well and very condensed each topic in blueprint

But on the otherhand it is very very detailed, as it is used also for NAPLEX prereration.

When one on The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review, he doesn't know where and when he should stop!!!
As in FPGEE I think we should only focus narrow on each topic.

On The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review, It is like swimming ia an ocean(as someone said before)!!!

So,what do you think about forming counseling group for The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review users?

welcome pinky, I hope you are fine

I think -in my openion- that it is useful to counsel with each other about

    for example:

1)which topics in The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review that we have NOT to study?
because it is not in the blueprint

    like:

    OTC drugs
    Nuclear pharmacy
    Federal pharmacy law

What are other topics in The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review that we have not to study?
    In your openion my dear?

    Thank you

    Dear Rimy,

Actually, Federal pharmacy law and OTC drugs are included in the blueprint. Check Area 3 session E and Area 4 session E5, respectively.
The only chapter I am note going to study from The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review is the nuclear pharmacy part, most likely.

    Regards,

    Hi VERDEAMARELO,
I hope you are fine, and thank you for your addition

    First, about Area 3E

I think-in my openion- that it talkes about the general pharmacy law of practice NOT the Federal law particulary

I think they mean the general responsibilities of pharmacist, general limits
and general legal basis in pharmacy practice

    What do you think?
And what other openions of our friends?

    About Area 4E 5

Actually,it is the first time I observe this line!!!!
    Nonprscription drug therapy

but I stiil cofused, I don't know what they mean by this
Because many people wh took the exam said that the OTC is not present and its only wanted by NAPLEX students

    So, what do you think?
And what other openions of our friends here?

    Thank you all

    Hi All!

I have no idea about the FPGEE Exam but I passed the Canadian Evaluation Exam and according to that The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review is very important and Pharmacology by Lippencott's.

So what do you all think ?

For Microbiology I did Bacterial Classification and the varous disease caused by various organisms plus all the 10 chapters from Lippencott starting from Sulfonamide ending at Drugs used for Cancer Chemotherapy.

    Thanks everyone for there suggestions.

I still think we should look for a more specific source and go to The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review only when needed, there's got to be something that narrows down the study topics to what the FPGEE requires, The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review is way too extensive.

IT is true all FPGEE takers including myself. The only thing we could contrast all these facts about the book is to read it. Just a little wise knowledge on it if u feel like its vaque to understand is to look another source to confined but don't go too far, The Comprehensive Pharmacy Review is the "KEY" .

    Kudos to everyone! thanks...
