Hey starz...i know what you are going thru. I only used 2 weeks to prepare for my exam. A real crash course and bone crunching time for me. Anyway..here are some pointers..Please go over your CPR and pay particular attention to structure-activity relationships eg benzodiazepines, opiods, antidepressants etc cos you may see quite a bit of structure-related questions. Also management study is a "must". You will not believe that the whole of the 2nd paper last december was pure management( some not even in the recommended text of manan shroff). just take your time and also go over as many questions you can(it really helps) especially if you can get those CDS that contain FPGEE like questions...also the questions in CPR.
Hope this helps you as it did me. |

Hi Starzs,
I completly understad what you are going through.Know that its completely NORMAL to be like that. Every one will go through that phase. Along with questions, try to do lots and lots of questions . You can find here http://www.urch.com/forums/fpgee/573...st-takers.html (Useful Links for FPGEE test takers) They are free . But i see 2 problems with those links 1) They are not fpgee specific 2) overhelming because of too many Try to read Cpr shargel first and do questions from Dutta book. If were able to answer 50 % questions correctly from dutta book, you should be ok. Focus on explanations to those answers. Also, read manon management book. That is more that enough for FPGEE. |

Hi starz,
actually 1and half month is still long preparation, so make use of it try to sit down 6-8 hours daily if you can and focus on the review. Focus on microbiology, immunology, chemistry, kinetics, dynamics and pharmacology. from time to time familiarized with sructures in the CPR. the last week should be a review in calculation so you wont forget formulas esp basic formulas. Calculation is simple so dont fret much on that.Organized your time and divide the subjects with the remaining weeks. Goodluck and Godbless! allannmahal |
