Appreciate if you can review my analysis :)

The following was used as part of an internet advertising company's appeal to businesses:"Furniture Depot employed our internet advertising company to help. Since then its sales increased by 10% over last year's totals. Furniture Depot's success demonstrates how using our internet services can increase your profitability."

Describe how well reasoned you find this argument. In the discussion be sure to analyze the line of reasoning and the use of evidence in the argument. For example, you may need to consider what questionable assumptions underlie the thinking and what alternative explanations or counterexamples might weaken the argument's conclusion. You may also address possible changes in the argument that would make it more logically sound, and what, if anything, would help you better evaluate its conclusion.

-------------------------------------------------------------
My Analysis :-

As per author's claims, the internet advertising company's services have helped the furniture depot to achieve increase in their sales and profitability over last year's total.

However, the applying of internet based advertisements can be just one factor for sales to rise. Author do not put light on other sales improvement initiatives like numerous paper advertisements, offering higher discounts on products sold and better after sales services.

There may be other various factors like the rise in demand, better product development and better quality of product sold by Furniture Depot which has help their sales to rise. With just internet based advertising, it’s really difficult to accept the sale rise. Not all people buying furniture depot's product use internet services to purchase product. The internet can cater to a very niche segment of people and lacks wider scope of more customers attracted .The customer would definitely like to see product advertised and then make purchase.

Also the profitability of company's lies in cost cutting measures, for example reduction in workforce, cheaper materials used and lean practices used in company. These factors can increase company's profitability. Internet based advertising can be expensive and using such services can dent in profit. It might be this company may have good profits due to internet services. But can this business model be applied to other companies .Selling furniture is different than selling computers.

In conclusion, the author needs to understand how other mediums of advertisement can also lead to rise in sale when compared to internet based services. There can be other factors which can increase company profitability and author need to clear those.
