PLEASE READ!!!

The following appeared as part of an article in a trade magazine for breweries:
“Magic Hat Brewery recently released the results of a survey of visitors to its tasting room last year. Magic Hat reports that the majority of visitors asked to taste its low-calorie beers. To boost sales, other small breweries should brew low-calorie beers as well.”
Discuss how well reasoned….

The argument presented above is one has made a conclusion based on flawed assumptions and illogical comparisons. Thus I find that the statement is not convincing. I will elaborate on what must be corrected to solidify the argument.

To begin with, the author assumes that all the visitors who come to the brewery only come to taste the beer that Magic Hat Brewery provides, when some visitors may have come just to visit the Brewery.

Second, the argument does not mention what other beer products are provided and hence assumes that the visitors who wanted to taste beer preferred the low-calorie beers. If Magic Hat Brewer is a small company, then probably it would begin small (starting with only one product) then make some improvements and provide variety as their business improves.

Finally, the author makes illogical comparisons between the business of Magic Hat Brewery and othe4r small breweries’ businesses. Companies in the same industry have to sell products that can be different from other products otherwise there would be no point in having competition. In other words, there should be a difference between the products of companies that provide the beer that tastes better, the computer that works faster or the shoes that feels the most comfortable. Hence, what works for one company may not work for another.

I, therefore, conclude that the author of the magazine should take the details, which have been explained above, into consideration and investigate the survey to back the statement he or she made.

This time I finished this essay in exactly 28 mins and gave myself a thumbs up for speed. But I need your opinions on how well my essay was written, its structure, grammar, etc… and rate it, please. Thank you!
