Please review my first essay
Issue: Businesses and Other organizations have overemphasized the importance of workign as a team. Clearly in human group , it is the strong individual , the person with the most commitment and energy, who gets the things done.
Analysis: Many professionals raise the question that orgnaizations overemphasized the importance of team work. A close examination of issue reveals that team work has its role in the completion of work and organizations have not overemphasized the importance of working as a team. A main reason behind this importance of team work is the particular skills required to perform a task. A person can't have all the skills and this highlight the limitation of an individual to perform all the tasks. Organization's work is a combination of many areas of varying complexity and also , specific knowledge and skills are required to complete the tasks in each area. So a team, consisting of members having all the required skills , should be required to perfom the work at organizations. Individuals even with most commitment and energy can't have all the skills required to complete the orgnzational work. Other factor behind the importance of team work is the dependency of an organization on an individual. Such dependencies beyond a certain limit is not good for the health of both the organization and individual. Individuals leave organzations and organization's work should get impacted due to these type of human decision. On the other hand , growth of a employee stops while working in highly job secured and comfortable environment.Competition between various team members not only motivates the members to achieve new skills but also strength the organization. The bottomline of each and every organization is the quality of deliverables. Organization's deliverables quality is directly dependent on the performance of individual and quality of work done by each individual. Even a Strong person , overburdened with work , is not able to maintain the quality of delivarables and this have an impact on the organization deliverables. In case of team , the work is distributed among team members and each member is responsible for performing the task assigned. Team members also extend their supports to other when a spcific skill is required and this improves the quality of deliverables. While there are arguments to be made for both sides, it is clear that team work is the key in organizational work. without having various members in a team , organizations are not able to complete their work in time and with quality. |
