When choosing a career nowadays, people have to consider several factors. Some people believe that financial gain results in successfully choosing an occupation, while others might disagree. This essay will demonstrate why being rewarded financially plays the most significant role in deciding a successful career.

First, I would like to declare what successfully choosing a career means. It describes a selection that enables an employee to be successful in a career. Thus, a significant key in achieving this goal is to consider what affects the productivity of employee in the working place.

On one hand, from my experiences, a low income is the top reason why an employee resigns. An unaccepted salary causes an employee to feel unappreciated and forces him to leave a company. On the other hand, a financial reward, such as an incentive or a bonus, motivates an employee to work productively. Thus, a financial gain has a decisive effect on the productivity of an employee through his morale and motivation

Another crucial factor in choosing a career is to determine whether a company has a competitive environment since a competitive environment can stimulate the productivity of employees. To indicate such an environment, a salary base is an effective tool because a company that only provides a sufficient financial reward is able to retain talented staffs and maintain a competitive environment. Therefore, by examining a salary offer, a candidate can know whether he will be competitive and productive.

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I strongly agree that financial gain is the most important in successfully choosing a career because it identifies whether a candidate can work with high level of motivation and whether a candidate can work competitively. Thus, a candidate is recommended to pay attention to financial gain as much as possible.

The opinion that financial gain should be the most important factor in choosing a career is a controversial one. A person’s financial status is becoming increasingly important in today’s world of rising costs. Although, many people choose their careers based on financial gains, these people ignore the other important factors that play a critical role in building a successful career. In my view, financial gain should not be the only factor to be considered in choosing a career. There are a couple of important factors which can’t be completely ignored.

First, a person’s interest in an area is a crucial factor that helps to build his career. Unless a person likes the job he is doing, he won’t be able to grow in his field. Most of the successful people are the ones who choose their careers based on the field of their interest. For example, the great Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, left his school at the age of 10 and started playing cricket. It was his interest and his passion for cricket that made him grow so much in his career that he is now considered a role model by most of the Indian youths.

Second, job satisfaction is a critical factor in making a career choice. Now-a-days, people give more importance to money than to anything else .They work days and nights just to earn more money. The hectic lifestyle has led to more dissatisfaction in people than it was 10 years ago. Such people are not able to give enough time to their personal lives and end up losing balance between their personal and private lives.

Admittedly, money plays an important role in today’s world. The ever increasing costs and increasing tendency of people to have lavish lifestyles has made people to prefer financial gains to job satisfaction and individual interests. However, the disadvantages of giving more importance to money than to anything else outweigh any of its potential advantages.

In conclusion, the financial gain should not be the only factor in choosing a career.
A good balance between financial gain, job satisfaction and individual interest is necessary to make a prosperous career.

I do not agree with author that financial gain should be the most important factor in choosing a career. In following paragraphs I shall explain out what I believe to justify my stance.

Take any example of persons who succeeded in commercial life and made huge empires credited to their name.
Take examples of Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, they opted the career they always wanted to. They opted the career path they liked most.
And eventually they excelled and reached to the highest altitude of corporate world. How they could manage to make so much money ?
Is it Because they opted for a career in which they saw high amount of financial gain? probably the answer is no. they opted the
line they liked the most for that they even didn't complete their education.

Person will excel in his life only if a person is pursuing the career of his/her liking. Because you will never feel tiredness in
doing work you like to do. You will actually try to nourish your work and thus cultivate yourself more and more in your opted career.
If a person has pursued a career because of mere reason of financial gain, the career path in short term will boost him up but after certain
point of time he will be faded up and wont be able to work with passion as the work is not of his liking.

For example in our company one of the person who was technically very sound tried to enter into management area as
somebody told him that ultimate goal of any person is to gain as much financial gain as possible. He tried there for two years and get so boared with sort of managerial work that finally he abandoned the management area and turned to his technical area. After that he was so much happy that he even didn't hesitate working for 14 hours a day and finally became head of technical department.

A person can turn any career into handsome profit making career if person has sound knowledge and passion to work irrespective of whether
it is really a financially strong career path or not. It's the passion that drives a person to earn not just a career that he/she opted
by considering financial gain the most important factor in choosing career.

So in all a person should follow his intuition and liking and follow the career path he/she likes to have balanced life through out and shouldn't opt just by seeing mere financial gain in careers.

pl. assess my writing too... Thanks in adv.
