“Corporations and other businesses should try to eliminate the many ranks and salary grades that classify employees according to their experience and expertise. A ‘flat’ organizational structure is more likely to encourage collegiality and cooperation among employees.”
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your views with reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading

The aforementioned issue of adoption of flat organization system by corporations to encourage collegiality and cooperation among employees is contentious yet interesting and enticing. Many people believe that flat organization system will make employees friendly and cooperative hence improving productivity, the perspective initially seems logical and practical, but these people overlook the other factors that contribute to overall productivity. Furthermore when this argument is weighed against the argument, ranks and salary grades that classify the employees according to their experience and expertise are essential because employees feel more valued and allows better control of subordinates, the second argument outweighs the first one. In this essay, I will argue that corporations should maintain ranks and salary grades that classify employees according to their experience and expertise.
A main reason that employees will prefer classification because they will feel more valued and work better. Such a ranking will highly motivate the person and will result in higher efficiency and better results. A flat organization structure will not motivate the person and this can lead to poor utilization of potential of employees. Besides, in case of limited resources proper utilization can be done if the person with most expertise is allotted the recourses. The research houses are the clear example of businesses where employees with proper expertise and experience produce results because they are properly allocated resources

The bottom line of a corporation or business is efficiency and maximum productivity and these goals can be achieve only will proper planning, supervision and control. Rank helps in clearing identifying the people who have experience and expertise to carry out proper planning and supervision. Besides ranking helps in clearly defining the area of control of each employee. Manager can make sure that his subordinates are not wasting time. Beside expert and experienced managers can motive their subordinates and act as a source of inspiration.

There are many good reasons for the opposing side to argue that that flat organization system promotes collegiality and cooperation among employees and ranking can promote jealous and incorporative behavior among employees. However, it cannot be ignored that this argument fails to understand that corporation among employees depends upon the social environment of the corporation, which is independent of ranking of employees. Infect expert managers will be able to avoid such confrontations in the office and help in improving the social environment of office.

I have argued that corporations should maintain ranks and salary grades that classify employees according to their experience and expertise. This view will become increasingly dominant keeping in mind higher efficiency of employees and overall productivity of corporation. Many of these issues can never be resolved to everybody’s satisfaction, but in the long run, promoting ranking of employees will lead to the great success of businesses and employees. Consequently, it is much better to say that corporations should maintain ranks and salary grades that classify employees according to their experience and expertise

Please clearly mention where do i need to improve rate it and also give few tips about time mangement
