The argument says that modern students are not as creatively equipped as were the students of last generations. The author tries to support his viewpoint by citing examples from writing and task performance. I shall refute this argument of author and will support the fact that modern day students are better equipped and are more creative and logical.

The argument that students, nowadays, are less expressive in terms of writing can easily be counter argued. The students are rather more expressive in various ways, be it writing or enacting or any other means of expression. Today's youth is excelling in more than one field rather than sticking to just studies. An average college goer, today, is also into different activities such as writing for local newspapers or magazines, participating actively in local drama or plays, participating in various sports and social works. This "multi talent" has become a part of life now a day. Thus we can safely say that the youth, today, is more empowered and talented than ever before.

Also, today's generation gets added benefit from the technology. There are various resources available these days, such as, personal computers, laptops, internet, television, radio etc. These resources not just entertain but also update and upgrade. They helps in coming up with more creative ideas and sharing them with the world, there by giving more fresh thoughts.

In sum, we can conclude that the today's generation is much more trained, creative and logical then it was ever before.
