In “clinical trials of new medicines” of medicines we check the effectiveness of medicines. If our experiment is not able to prove the same then it is “frustrating”

This may happen when the subjects who haven’t been administered the new medicine start showing improvements due to his inner psychological boost, which came from the thought of having the medicine, then this clinical trial will fail as we will not be able to know if the improvement was due to the new medicine or the placebo
