    Here's another one!!

    8. A local automobile dealer gives a customer a $100 bonus if she sends another customer to the dealership and actually buys a car. Therefore, the dealer should also give the original customer a $100 discount if she returns to buy another car.

What is the hidden assumption in the preceding argument?

O The car sold to the first customer usually costs more than the car sold to the second customer.
O People are more likely to buy practical cars than luxury cars.
O Automobile dealers need to sell as many cars as possible.
O First-time buyers are more important to a business than returning customers.
O A returning customer is essentially the same as a new customer, in that each one results in the sale of a new car.

    IMO E.
Conclusion: the dealer should also give the original customer a $100 discount if she returns to buy another car
Premise: A local automobile dealer gives a customer a $100 bonus if she sends another customer to the dealership and actually buys a car

Clearly, E provides the missing link.
