I know this question is already discussed, but please help me in figuring the logic

Blood banks will shortly start to screen all donors for NANB hepatitis. Although the new screening tests are estimated to disqualify up to 5 percent of all prospective blood donors, they will still miss two-thirds of donors carrying NANB hepatitis. Therefore, about 10 percent of actual donors will still supply NANB-contaminated blood.

The argument above depends on which of the following assumptions?

(A) Donors carrying NANB hepatitis do not, in a large percentage of cases, carry other infections for which reliable screening tests are routinely performed.

(B) Donors carrying NANB hepatitis do not, in a large percentage of cases, develop the disease themselves at any point.

The statement says that they will miss two thirds , who are carrying infection and will not get screened .
The argument assumes that this two thirds does not carry any infection and so they never get screened and hence are again a source of infection .

I don't know if i am able to put my point across .....the question basically says that even after screening there would be a considerable proportion of population that contributes infection and the reason is that they never get screened not even for other infections and so are unaware of their infection status.
