Is ⏐x⏐< 1? (1) ⏐x + 1⏐ = 2⏐x - 1⏐ (2) ⏐x - 3⏐ ≠ 0
any takes ? statement one is X+1 = 2X -1
What does ⏐ mean? 1) X+1 = 2X -1 means -x=-2, x=2 It cant be this simple. Am I missing something?
I guess that symbol should be mod. If it is mod then I'll take C. The question is asking whether the 'x' is b/w 0 and 1. (I) 'x' might be 3 or 1/3. (II) 'x' is not 3 but can be any value. (I)+(II) 'x' is 1/3.
