(1) M has 3 digits.
(2) M^2 has 5 digits

1000^3 has 9 digits, so 999 should have more than 8 digits

if m=100 then m^3 will have 6 digits

so M is roughly between 100 and 300.
For 100 M^3 will have 6 digits and for 300 7 digits

1 and 2 states the same thing that m has 5 digits.
