Question what is the value of n?

If n is an integer between 2 and 100 and if n is also the square of an integer, what is the value of n?
    (1) n is the cube of an integer.
    (2) n is even.

--> Could you please help with the math?

I interpreted the problem as follows:
    The possible values of n are: 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64 and 81.
Statement 1: The cube of a positive integer should give us the value of n. Here, only 64 satisfies this condition, i.e. 4^3=64. - SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: n is even. We have several even numbers, as shown above. - INSUFFICIENT.
    Hence, (IMO) A.
