My first DS Q! Need help please

    Hi,

The question says: What is the value of y?
    1) y is an even integer such that -1.5 < y < 1.5

Am I right to say that the statement is not sufficient because the even integers are 0 & 1?

    Thanks in advance

    Even integers: ...-6, -4, -2, 0, 2, 4, 6,...

    If -1.5 < y < 1.5, there are 3 possible integer values for y: y can equal -1, 0 or 1
Since we are told that y is even, this statement provides sufficient information to allow us to conclude that y=0

    Cheers,
    Brent

Possible values are -1, 0, 1 and since y is even therefore y is equal to 0
