## For me ... an interesting one

Chan and Mieko drove separate cars along the entire lenght of a certain route. If Chan made the trip in 15 minutes, how many minutes did it take Mieko to make the same trip?

1) Mieko's speed for the trip was 3/4 of Chan's average speed.
2) The route is 14 miles long.

SPOILER:
Official Answer is A because when dealing with a fixed distance a person's average speed is inversely related to the amount time required to make the trip.

option A
From 1) Let the route distance be x miles ,then chan average speed is x/15(miles/min)
meiko speed is 3/4*x/15 = x/20
Meiko takes 20 minutes to cover the distance

From 2) Route is 14 miles long ..this data is not useful(redundant) to find the speed of Meiko
1) is correct

Option A, as the distance is fixed and as Mieko's speed for the trip was 3/4 of Chan's speed, Meiko will take 4/3 of the time chan takes.
