    Bakery DS

    At a bakery Lew spent a total of $6.00 for one of kind of cupcake and one kind of dougnut. How many dougnuts did lew buy ?

    1) The price of 2 doughnuts was $0.10 less than the price of 3 cupcakes

    2) The average (mean) price of 1 dougnut and 1 cupcake was $0.35

    Quite confusing .. but this is what i think ....
    Let y = no. of dougnuts
    D = cost of 1 dougnut

    x = number of cupcakes
    C = cost of 1 cupcake

    Question gives
    XC + YD = 6

    A --- 2D = 3C - 0.1
    -- insufficient

    B -- D + C = 0.35 * 2 -- Insufficient

    Combining A & B , we can find C and D , i.e cost of doughnut and cost of cupcake , but it still isnt sufficient to find x or y ,
