    median number

What is the median number of employees assigned per project for the projects at Company Z?

    (1) 25 percent of the projects at Company Z have 4 or more employees assigned to each project.
    (2) 35 percent of the projects at Company Z have 2 or fewer employees assigned to each project.

    (A) Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
    (B) Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
    (C) BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
    (D) EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
    (E) Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

It Is Got To Be - C

Suppose - Ther Are 100 Empyee,
    25 People --- 4 Or 4 + [projects

    35 People --- 2 Or Less Then 2 Projects

    So Reamining 40 People Witl,l Have 3 Projects ,

Hence This Is The Median ,

Remember Ther Eis No Possibilty Of Having 1/2 Or 3/4 Projects

    E for me.

Suppose 100 projects at company Z

    Scenario 1)

    35 projects with 2 people/project (pp) (Condition (2) = TRUE)
    40 projects with 3 pp
    25 projects with 4 pp (Condition (1) = TRUE)

If we order the projects by number of people, median 3

    Scenario 2)
    35 projects with 2 people/project (pp) (Condition (2) = TRUE)
    25 projects with 4 pp (Condition (1) = TRUE)
    40 projects with 10 pp

If we order the projects by number of people, median 4

As far as I see, both conditions are not sufficient.

40 projects with 10 pp cannot be a separate group as it is a subset of Stmt 1 ( with >= 4 employees)
