For this to be true, A must be > (0.01+0.001)/2 ie A>0.0055 or A>0.01

1) A is closer to 0.1 than it is to 0.0001

=> A > 0.05005 or A > 0.1

2) A is closer to 0.01 than it is to 0.0001

=> A > 0.00505 or A> 0.01

From 1) we can say that A>0.0055 or A>0.01 Suff

From 2) we cannot say for sure
