dios
Is integer x a prime number given x>0? (need more information) if an integer has a prime factor other than itself, it's NOT prime. 1) (ALL prime factors of x) > sqrt(x) 2) (ALL prime factors of x) > x/2 because 1 and 2 each satisfy both arguments but have different prime-status, E. This is a good problem. Thanks.
vijay vishnu
It should be D ! This Qs was discussed in a recent post .
jay711
yes, it should be D. Because if x is not prime then it's divisable by at least 2 numbers besides 1 and itself. In these 2 numbers, one must be smaller than root X, and also smaller than X/2.  1) x is prime - suff 2) x is prime - suff
bhagyad
Each of the stmnts suff. D IMO.
