(1) -x|x| >0
(2) 5-x > 0

Solving the equation we get complex roots with (11 +- 79^0.5 * i) / 2. This means root cannot be negative while equation 1 implies the root to be negative. Using equation 2, we get -0.5 +- imaginary number, which is never greater than 0.
Answer should be E.
