Integers r < n < s

How many integers n are there such that r < n < s?

(1) s - r = 5
(2) r and s are not integers

SPOILER: OA: C

california is on the way!
1. Not sufficient. If s and r are integers, there will be 4 integers between r and s (Ex. s = 10, r = 5). If r and s are not integers there will 5 integers between r and s (Ex. s = 9.9, r = 4.9).

2. Not sufficient. r and s could be any numbers

1 and 2 - There will be 5 integers between r and s

Ans: C

In Q, it's mentioned only about n, not about r or s. Integers r < n < s is, I think, the title of the Q.
