    Q15:
If n and k are positive integers, is n/k an even integer?
    (1) n is divisible by 8.
    (2) k is divisible by 4.

    St I) n is divisible by 8, implies n is a multiple of 8.
    But we do not know anything abt k. Eg : 8/4 = 2 24/8 =3 . INSUFF

St II) k is divisible by 4 , implies k is a multiple of 4. again no info abt n.INSUFF

    From I and II ,
    if n= 16 , k=4 then n/k =4
    but if n=40, k=8 then 40/8 =5
    Hence E

    St I )
Xjune = 1.5Ymay. No Use as we need to find Xjune/Yjune

    St II)
    Yjune= 1.25Ymay . no help

    from I and II

    Y may = yjune/1.25
    hence Xjune=1.5 ( Yjune/1.25)
    Hence C

    If x and y are integers and x > 0, is y > 0?
    (1) 7x – 2y > 0
    (2) -y < x

    St I ) 7x – 2y > 0, implies 7x >2y
Moreover x is +ve. so 7x is +ve. 2y can be +ve or -ve. INSUFF

    St II) -y < x
y>-x. . But x is +ve. Hence -x is -ve. y can be -ve or +ve again .INSUFF.

    From I and II

    Let x=2 , then y can be -1, 2

    7(2) – 2 (-1) = 14+2 =16
    7(2) -2(2) =14 -4 =10

    Hence E.

Pls check answer for Q15, it must be E not C

This is very tricky and I learnt it from my mistake.

St I) Heaviest box in J is 15 . This means all other boxes in J are lesser than 15. Question also says All boxes in J are lesser than K. This means least box in K > 15.

So it looks like (for eg).........12,13,15,16............
45 th box is in the middle number as there are 89 boxes. 45 th box also happens to be the heaviest of J. Hence it is the median
