Timing
I have trouble reducing my timing for this section. I am practicing a lot, but have a tough time finishing 37 questions in the 75 minute time slot.
Any recommendations? Does it make sense to take a "slow and steady" approach to the exam or is it best to work under the "2 minutes per problem" rule. I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thank you! |

I would suggest you to first get a hold on the concepts..initially try to solve problems without worrying about time..as ou get hold on concepts, start timing urself and work towards reducing the time u take for each problem..with practice you should be able to make it

While practice, solve the questions withhout worrying about time.. learn tables and speed techniques.. There are ways by which you can do lot of calculations mentally - find on Mental math and you will find few tricks.

Sorry, I haven't checking the forum quite as regularly. I have an old set of Kaplan books (dated 2000). They are titled home study books. They have really helpful drills that definitely improved my timing.
Hope that helps! ![]() |
