Absolute value problem - OG 12

Gents,

This question appears both in OG 11 and 12, but I just cann't understand it even with explanation from OG.

My point is both -2 and 2 have the same absolute value, but why OA is A?

I think I've seen this prob in OG11. But in OG11, the illustration (the positions of the points on the number line) was much clearer. So perhaps this is just a type on OG12.

Yes, they are just the same. But do you have any idea about the answer?

In OG11, point A was at -2 while point E was a little bit to the left of 2. So hence it's clearer in OG11 that point A has the greatest abs value.
