The question asks:
x - 3 > 7 --> x > 10
- (x - 3) > 7 --> x < - 4

in terms of a number line (where * represents possible solutions), you see that both are sufficient

does x belongs to the intervals __________ -4 10_________
(1) sufficient directly x>10
(2) sufficient directly x<-4
