For 1,
9.8x + 9.1y= 9.3x+9.3y => .5x=.2y=>x:y=5:2. B.

II) r = (ka^2)/b
r1 = (ka^2)/2b => r1 = r/2

to make r1= r, a should be multiplied with sqrt(2).

Sqrt(2) = 1.41. so approx 40% increase.

III) median M = 6+8/2 = 7
7 = (6/7) m where m is mean.
so m = 49/6
33+x/6 = 49/6
x= 16

IV) IMO answer is A.

1) substitute any value for y and check. It says x is multiple of Y.

2) x(x-1)/y = int
if x= 3 and y = 2 , then x(x-1)/y will be an int.
But x is not multiple of y. So not suff

A wins

V) fraction f = (total T - P U Q) / T

1) only P = 1/3 T Not suff
2) only Q + P interset Q = 1/2 T Not suff

(1) & (2) : only P + only Q + P interset Q = P U Q.

So suff
C wins

iv:

1 x = y(...) clearly a multiple of y
2. x(x-1) is a multiple of y

CASE 1 x is multiple of y
CASE 2 x -1 is a multiple of y
CASE 3 neither x or x-1 alone is a multiple of y but the product is a multiple of y

not sufficient

Hence A
