Seems simple but I'm confused

Q: If n is a prime number greater than 3, what is the remainder when n is divided by 12?

(A) 0
(B) 1
(C) 2
(D) 3
(E) 5

I get different remainders for different prime numbers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ok thanks. It's from one of the old GMAT exams. I thought I was going crazy.
