Parallelogram

What is the area of parallelogram ABCD?

1. AB = BC = CD = DA = 1
2. AC = BD = sqrt(2)

My take on this is C
Statement 1 implies that the parallelogram is a rhombus with side 1. Not sufficient to find area.

Statement 2 implies that the parraleogram is a rectangle with diagonal sqrt 2

Combining 1 & 2, we get the parallelogram as a square of side 1 and hence area is 1

Therefore C

Thanks
Elton

Yes C. Both the statement are needed to arrive that it is a square and hence the area is 1
