    Perimeter

    The perimeter of a right angle isosceles triangle is 16 + 16(sqrt(2)). What's the hypotenuse?

    Let equal side = a and hypotenuse = h

    h^2 = a^2 + a^2
    => a = h/sqrt(2)

    Also, 2a + h = 16 + 16(sqrt(2))
    putting, a = h/sqrt(2), in this eq, we get,

    h + h(sqrt(2)) = 16 + 16(sqrt(2))
    => h = 16

    h + h(sqrt(2)) = 16 + 16(sqrt(2))
    => h = 16

    Not sure how you got H+H(rt2)... i keep getting Hrt2+2H/rt2...
